    • Frozen product - The meat will be packaged in food grade, light blue tinted, three layer coex polythene, minimum 250 gauge (50 micron).
    • Solid, polythene coated cardboard cases which are staple free and approved for food use may also be used.
    • Meat which is not boxed but stacked directly onto a pallet will be packed and sealed in blue polythene. Where pallets are constructed from wood, they will be sound and covered to prevent any contact with the meat. The first layer of material will also be protected with a cardboard skirt to prevent any damage to the product during transportation.
